JAPANESE INTERIOR
This is an interior I modeled with basic shaders and lighting for my 3D Modeling class. It was done in the style of the Edo Period (1616-1860 AD) by researching the timeframe. I also added a bit of my own stylings with the Torii house symbol and bonsai trees, which were drawn on iPad with Adobe Ideas, taken as vector into Illustrator and Maya and lofted and extruded as geometric art forms.
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
I modeled my version of the World Trade Center Port Authority Transportation Hub (WTC PATH) during my first Maya classes at the Art Institute. My inspiration came from Santiago Calatrava, who is building the WTC PATH in New York City at Ground Zero. The modeling was done with Autodesk Maya for an architectural design assignment in my 3D Modeling class at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach.

UtopiaThis is an environment modeled, textured, and animated for Materials & Lighting class at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. It is my version of the lost utopia of Lemuria. I did all the 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting. Maya Vegetation was provided by AutoDesk and XFROG.

Steam Train StationThis was a project in "Materials & Lighting" class at the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. The school provided an OBJ model of a Wedgwood train and I designed the Steam Train with my own modeling modifications, textures, lighting, steam particle effects, and creation of the train station environment.

Goshawk flies over CarrierThis BAE Goshawk Mk127 plane was from "Materials & Lighting" class in which I did the textures, lighting, and environment, which included modeling my former ship, the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). The airplane model was provided without textures by the Art Institute of Virginia Beach.

SAMURAI
This is a character I designed, modeled, rigged, UV mapped, textured, and animated for Character Modeling & Rigging class. i really enjoyed making this guy. He reminds me a bit of an Asian version of Mr. Magoo with his character.

YUMIKO
A female character I designed, Yumiko is an archery bow child who was separated from her family and learned to live from the land by learning the ways of the flora and fauna. Software used: AutoDesk Maya, Adobe PhotoShop, and GarageBand for iPad.

LUNATEC
I designed this Aztec creature who hunts by the light of the moon using a process called lunar synthesis. I modeled and animated him using AutoDesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop (yes I did part of the animation with Photoshop). Don't blink or you may miss that part. Some of the textures were provided by CG Textures.

GORGELAY
A gargoyle I modeled and textured in the style of Tim Burton. Also shown is the concept drawing I did for this character which I created from scratch. He was an inspiration from time I spent in Port-au-Prince and Gonaives, Haiti. A full presentation on Gorgelay is on Prezi at: http://prezi.com/4tj5gzrd_ppe/gorgelay/

THE TINKER
This was my first time modeling with clay and first time using Acrylic paints. I used Super Sculpey for the modeling, which I later developed into a full story about the Tinker and the Steampunkables, which was made into an immersive storytelling sim in the virtual world of Second Life thru a grant by the Linden Endowment of the Arts (LEA): https://steampunkables.wordpress.com/
